Planes of Fame Air Museum is proud to present Planes of Fame Air Show on May 5-6, 2018. Featuring over 40 historic aircraft, including P-47 Thunderbolts, P-38 Lightnings and P-51 Mustangs flying for your enjoyment. We invite you to join us in honoring the history, contributions, and sacrifices of our veterans.

Performers include: A-10 Thunderbolt and Heritage Flight; Sean Tucker Aerobatics; World's fastest piston engine aircraft P-51 Mustang Voodoo; N9MB Flying Wing Demo; Pacific, European, Korean & Vietnam Flight Displays, Sanders Sea Fury Aerobatics, Gregory 'Wired' Colyer T-33 Aerobatics, Rob Harrison the Tumbling Bear.

Again this year there will be Kids Zone!, static displays, food & vendors, and more!

In addition to many other fantastic airplanes that will be performing and on static display, there will be a special panel discussion with some of our honored veterans. Stay tuned for future announcements of some of ourspecial guests.

“Airport Day” is an annual event when the Fullerton Municipal Airport opens its doors to the public, allowing the community to tour the Airport and see first-hand the important role it plays in providing service not only to Fullerton, but to all of Orange County. The Orange County Fire Authority, the Anaheim Police Department, the California Highway Patrol and other public agencies are just some of the participants. Other organizations such as airport businesses, the Fullerton Airport Pilots Association, the Civil Air Patrol, and Fullerton’s own Police and Fire departments also participate. Admission is FREE.

Wings over Wheels is a family-friendly, fun-filled event showcasing aircraft and show cars. Ex-military, home-builds and company manufactured planes will show-case the ramp while antique, classic, and muscle cars will populate in the area in front of the terminal. Experimental Aircraft Association Chapter 15, 47th Annual Breakfast 8:00am-11:00am, Lunch 11:00am-3:00pm. Airplane and helicopter rides will be available for a nominal fee along with kid activities.

Support the restoration and return to flight of the WWII B-17 Heavy Bomber that was mounted above the Bomber Gas Station and Restaurant in Milwaukee, Oregon for 67 years. Come and see vintage aircraft, WWII Military encampment and equipment, swap meet, along with visiting our Museum and the restoration of the B-17 Flying Fortress. There will be plenty of food, drink, and music available to make the Fly-In a most memorable and enjoyable event. Come and enter the opportunity to fly on a vintage WWII aircraft. The drawing will be held at the event and the winner must be present, at the time of drawing.
