Microsoft Flight Simulator gives us a great way to visit the great outdoors. You can hop in a plane and fly to any or all of the National Parks. It's the "perfect" vacation that many of us can only dream about.
Whether it's the green hillsides of the Shenendoah, the rugged slopes of Rocky Mountain or the deep and winding canyons of the Bryce, you can get there with Flight Simulator. But with the National Parks Enhanced Scenery, we transform these majestic places into even more vivid, visual memories.
Using Flight Simulator's adaptable elevated mesh terrain technology, we've boosted the detail four-fold for the 53 National Parks. We've replaced the default elevation data with super refined 38 meter info. The result is an incredible scenic accuracy bringing Flight Simulator even closer to reality.
For your "flightseeing" pleasure you can fly more than 60 pre-planned tours of the National Parks in one of three different DHC3 Otter (for FS2004 & FS2002) or DHC2 Beaver (for FS2002 & FS2000) models. The 100+ page FlightSeeing Manual provides background information on the parks and flight plans for great flightseeing tours.
