Q: What is different in the H version?

They H version is with the integrated pulse while the other version is without the integrated pulse.

Q: Will this AeroLEDs Sunspot 36-4000 light fit in a 1981 Mooney 201, M20J?

Yes, the Mooney 201 should be outfitted with a PAR36 sized light. This will fit any aircraft with the PAR36 sized light. We recommend confirming the size of the currently installed landing light to be sure it will work for your specific aircraft.

Q: Could you please elaborate integrated pulse? Do we need a separate power supply for pulse and steady lights?

Per Manufacturer: "Integrated Pulse" means the light has the ability to Pulse (On/Off) with the use of a switch. Each SunSpot light with integrated pulse... ie 01-1030-4509-H has a Yellow wire lead in the pigtail. Once you provide aircraft voltage (+12V) to the yellow lead and have ground to one of the screw lugs, the light will then begin pulsing. If they desire to have the light steady on, all that is required is power and ground to the screw terminals."

Q: Can the Aeroleds Sunspot 36-4000 be installed by the aircraft owner with a simple logbook entry?

Yes, it would be under the same requirements as if you were replacing an incandescent bulb.
