Removed old Slick mag , installed Kelly mag . Fired right up and even gained a 100 RPM on takeoff !
great install, came with new gasket, hold downs and bolts, and pin tool to set #1 cylinder. went rigt on set timing and fired right up.

The magnetos listed on this page are in Factory New condition.
Kelly Aero has asked that a core / exchange charge be associated with purchase even on new magnetos. In order to receive credit, Kelly asks for the magnetos that are being replaced to be sent in for a refund of the core charge. This is in line with the core charge associated with the purchase of the new Slick mag series.
Yes the Kelly version would be a direct replacement for the Slicks.
They will accept 4300/6300 mags as cores.
Kelly aerospace has a manual for these magnetos that they will be publishing soon. Because the ES magneto is FAA-PMA approved based upon the Slick 4300/6300, the Champion manual can be used for general installation guidance as the process is identical between the two magnetos. But, 500 hour maintenance and overhaul should use the Kelly ES manual.
