Purchased this unit after using the free app version A- EFIS with my cell phone. This product works with the new app software EFIS TA and also Horizon synthetic vision. I did have some challenges getting the Horizon app to function properly, however the company was able to help me alleviate those issues. The Talos-sense is working great and does a beautiful job at monitoring all in flight attitudes, speeds and g-forces. This unit also does well with the ADSB in showing the position of all near by aircraft. I really like the ability to find and navigate to nearby airports with just the touch of a couple of buttons. I am able to keep my airports in the flight plan and can easily toggle between them to get an instant heading. For my purpose of ultralight instrumentation and navigation, this is a real win on function and value. Just pair it with a nice tablet and you have a full function glass panel. My only dilemma is trying to decide which app I prefer, EFIS TA or Horizon, which ever you chose, EFIS TA is the default app and must be used to set up and calibrate the Talos, after that, you may use Horizon or any other application supported by the standard GDL90 protocol, such as SkyDemon, Easy VFR, Foreflight and so on.
