Overview

For cutting and shaping on soft and hard woods, fiberglass, plastics and laminates (not metal.) This versatile wheel is coated with tungsten carbide grit for long life. It is coated on both sides, so it cuts and finishes in one operation.

User Tips

  • Use the edge of the wheel for
    cutting and slotting.
  • Use the "face" of the wheel for shaping.
  • Do not use on metal.
  • For best results, insert the accessory bit all the way into the tool and then back it out slightly before tightening down. This provides plenty of shank for the collet or chuck to hold onto the bit.

Reviews

This blade was used to cut Pergo Extreme laminate - using a Skilsaw to cut the laminate longways resulted in a very bad, bad cut - so I was told this was a much easier way - I did need a better Dremel saw than the 100 model from Walmart, I needed the two-speed Dremel for slightly more from Home Depot - but the blade did very well - and apparently the laminate is a tough surface to cut -

I ordered two, received two, took one to my shop and my wife picked the second one up, still in the plastic package, and the plastic was pushed in, and about 1/3rd of the cutter blade was bent back. I will try to remove the center screw and bend it in a vice, really dont have the time to send it back etc....Live is too short...
