Product arrived promptly in safe packaging. Super easy to install in a few minutes. Real solid quality product that works great. It does work on a P35 Bonanza with the pilot window that has stainless hinges and latch.

Not many aviation items are value purchases. This is. It works well to cool the cockpit from the prop wash and forward motion of the plane, and sits inside the window out of the way when not in use. The mount feels very durable.

I put off buying these scoops for years. Thought about it every time I flew but didn’t act on it. Finally did act. Got one for the pilot side first. Loved it. Immediately ordered one for the other side. Wish I hadn’t flown so many years without them. Do they get in the way when they’re not being used? Yes they do a little. But it’s a very small price to pay for how effectively they bring air into the cabin. Absolutely would buy again!

Scoop works excellently. Installs in less than 5 minutes and does a great job keeping both front and rear seat passengers cool on the ground. Every airplane operated in a warm climate should have one!

I got tired of trying to hold the door partially open while I taxied from the ramp to the runway. Summers here are generally in the mid to upper 90s. I flew a plane years ago and it had a scoop like this, during one very hot taxi recently I decided to see if I could find one online. Wow am I glad I did. The installation is self-evident, though it has instructions. The adhesive is quick so be ready to have it in proper position when you press it to the plexiglass. I positioned mine and it was ready to go immediately. I went out on a hot afternoon and started the plane, I immediately flipped the scoop into the slip stream and it worked its magic flawlessly. I kept it extended until I made the tower call for takeoff. It easily folds back out of the way and the storm window closed. Excellent purchase. It has a warning about taxi speeds and not to be used in flight. I believe this is because you could possibly pop the window with the excessive pressures at those high speeds. Would purchase again if needed.

This vent really does work. Lets cold air in while taxing and waiting for for clearance to depart. Only wish I could keep window open with scoop in place while in closed traffic.

Works pretty good in a Cherokee six. Back seat pax said it really helps back there too

Nice alternative to a poor mans air conditioner. On the ground it cools cabin on a medium hot day and works great.

Best price available when considering shipping, quicker delivery than expected, installed in my PA-28-180 seconds, and most importantly, blows air right on the pilot during ground ops. This must-have is a bargain and Aircraft Spruce is the place to get it!

Boy does it work well! Five stars. Be sure and stow it prior to flight ... I always do, but I’ve heard first hand that bad things can happen if you don’t. Ground use only!

I have a Cherokee 140 which I installed the Koop Scoop. Easy to install and brings in a lot of air. I would recomend it to any one who owns an aircraft with a pilot’s storm window.

Super easy to install. Cheap when considering the typical cost of aviation stuff. Massive increase in airflow into cabin on those hot days. Prior to the scoop I would stick my cupped hand out of the window for a similar effect. The scoop in more efficient and frees up my left hand to do other more important stuff. If you live anywhere the temps can get uncomfortably warm this addition is a no brainer.

Easy to install, just make sure to dry fit first, mark the window installation location, then mount it. Huge airflow improvement thats crucial to pilot comfort while sitting on deck waiting to depart. Will be buying one for the right side when we replace our door window.

This was a replacement for one I had for years in my A36. It is a great “poor mans” air conditioner!

It is perfect for a ventilation on the ground. Only regret, the fixed part should be transparent also.

If you have a Piper Cherokee or warrior or any model airplane without a window that opens or AC then you need this. It is a super cheap upgrade which is something you dont find in the cockpit a lot and it makes a huge difference on a hot day.

If youre looking at this then you need to buy it, simple as that. Works great, dont be cheap just buy it.

The scoop works great, bringing in lots of airflow into the cabin during taxi operations. The material construct is of great quality and unit was simple to install. Aircraft Spruce also shipped the product promptly and without any hassle.

Works well. Installed on right door of V35 bonanza. Doesn’t flop out when closing door. Happy passengers.

Installed on V35 Bonanza. Works well. Although it is much smaller than the hole I installed it to catch the lower lip.

I have not installed it in the Mooney yet. Sure it will work very well but the trick apparently is to position it perfectly. The directions say you get one shot as it cannot be removed.

Serve its purpose , quite well

The device had to be made to fit on the window of a 1966 Beech Musketeer, has not been tested yet, but I am sure that it will make a difference to the flat opening that existed.
