Works as advertised but way overpriced for what turns out to be a fancy replacement bulb

Lasted just over two years and 225 flight hours. Simple light with cheap plastic housing. I don’t see why this couldn’t be a simple bayonet light at a quarter of the price.

Purchased the Beacon, bulb lasted about 4 flashes and quit. Bought this overpriced bulb hoping it will last more than 4 flashes. Aircraft Spruce said not our problem, take it up with Whelen

Replaced the old bulb, lasted 4 flashes and that was it. For $90 bucks this is a waste of money and time. This is a hit or miss bulb that might last you or not.
