The RAM® X-Grip® universal holder for 9"-10" tablets features an 'X' design that expands and contracts to provide a perfect fit for your device – even if it's in a case. Included are easy access grip knobs located on the back of the cradle for quick release of your tablet. No matter what double socket arm and mounting base you pair the RAM® X-Grip® with, RAM® ball and socket technology allows for near-infinite adjustability to achieve the ideal viewing angle – while also extending the life of your phone by providing shock and vibration damping. This version of the RAM® X-Grip® holder is compatible with tablets that will fit the dimensions listed below. It is important to verify the dimensions of device with its case, sleeve, or skin when determining the overall size. RAM adapter sold separately. |

It is easier than I expected to insert the iPad. Those tabs to open the X work very well. It holds the iPad very securely. Zero complaints from me.

The mount itself is good. It is a little heavy so with your ipad and mount at the end of the arm you get some vibration. Nothing you cant work through. My problem is that when you buy the mount you need to buy the ball to attach it separately. I found this out after i received the parcel. I had to call spruce to order the ball for a second delivery. Thankfully i got a super nice agent who arranged free shipping otherwise the shipping would have been more expensive than the ball.
