Designed by pilots for pilots, our high-quality iPad Rotating Kneeboard is covered with soft, leather-like material and features a wide hook-and-loop leg strap to hold the kneeboard in place during flight.
Inside, the rotating iPad frame holds the device securely and allows for 360-degree rotation of the iPad. An easel is built into the kneeboard for adjustable tilted viewing, in and out of the cockpit. The power port is accessible with the cover closed, a window exposes the camera lens for easy picture taking, and a small elastic loop securely holds a pencil, pen or stylus.

I finally broke down and got an ipad and foreflight. I chose this solution to use them in the cockpit of my C172. I ordered it on Tuesday and it showed up on Wednesday. I promptly took it to the airport to try it out. The ipad fits into this case fairly well. There is no obstruction of the screen. I like the rotation feature although I did not use it. This kneeboard worked well. It held the ipad reasonably securely and did not interfere with cockpit operations. I flew for over an hour with absolutely no discomfort. The pictures do not show that this also works as a protective case when closed. Bottom line, its not perfect but I would buy it again.
This kneeboard rotates so they iPad Air can be viewed in landscape view.
