Overview

The innovative Charge on the Fly is a user-installed USB charger that utilizes power passthrough via the Lemo plug to support devices using a USB-A port as well as devices such as iPads that support the Power Delivery (PD) protocol over USB-C.

The PD port supplies up to 30 watts and will charge a completely dead iPad Pro 11" in 1:45.

This charger plugs into the aircraft's ANR headset LEMO jack using a short captive cable. The headset is then plugged into the LEMO jack on the opposite end. All audio signals pass through the charger to the aircraft's audio system. Power for the internal charger is provided by the ship's power (12-30 volts). The USB-A and USB-C ports may be used at the same time.

This charger meets or exceeds the specs of many of the expensive panel mounted chargers that require an installation in a shop. The Power Delivery USB-C port It will even fast charge many Apple devices that still have the Lightning charging port by using a Lightning to USB-C cable. This includes the iPad mini 5, iPad Air gen 3, iPad Pro 10.5", regular newest iPad, and most all modern iPhones.

If you aircraft lacks a cigarette lighter power source, or it is already being utilized, the Charge On Fly will integrate seamlessly and provide you clean power straight to your portable device.
