I have had a Sunguard Slap-On Sun Visor for years. I keep it at the top of my windshield and there have been numerous times when the glare from the sun is just in the right position to make it impossible to see anything out of the windshield or perhaps the side window. I just pick up my Sunguard Slap-On Sun Visor .., slap it on wherever I need it, and the sun glare disappears. What a safety feature! So now I have purchased 23 Sunguard Slap-On Sun Visor to give away to my family and friends along with their Christmas card this year. Again, I sure do love my Sunguard - wouldnt be without it !!!

These work great. Best bang for the buck in Aviation. Sticks easily to the plexi. Easy to move around the cockpit. The trick is to rub them on your sleeve, pant leg, or head. Get that static charge going and then stick it where the sun shines.

Out of the box they looked like a good quality product, but in the plane I quickly discovered that they do not stick like you would expect. No amount of rubbing on clothing restored enough cling for it to stick tightly to the windscreen or sunscreens in my plane. Turns out a bit of spit, though works well enough so that if a corner or two are drooping it will then lay flat. In fairness, we did discover that they perform better when they are warm. Just be careful if the wind is blowing when you open your door that they might blow right out of the plane. Ask me how I know this, because then you will have dust and grit to remove before trying to use it again. Although they were not nearly as clingy as I would have liked, I would buy them again because they are inexpensive and work well enough once you can get them to stay in place.

I bought this to use as a shade on my canopy. Unfortunately it falls off after a couple of minutes.
