SAFETY WIRE TWISTER 6" DIAG

October 2, 2021

I hadn’t thought about rating these until I came in to buy a set for the house tool box after stringing the Christmas lights w my “bag” pair. I’ve had and used my primary pair for....well.. at least 30-40 YEARS. I’ve given new pairs to others but kept “my pair”. Never use them for ANYTHING BUT SAFETY WIRE and they last long enough to pass them on. Do NOT buy cheap safety wire plyers! They will nick the wire and imediately make that wire un airworthy.... I’m an “old school” A&PIA and instructor.... Oh... I didn’t even get mine new...so make mine 50+ years of service.

Q: Part number 12-02019 safety wire pliers. Do they have the ball bearing end? What Milbar model number are they?

This is model 31W, and the data sheet show this has a brass twist-rod bearing.
