This extension worked fine, at first. Over the course of the year (it was permanently in my plane) the insulation peeled and cracked and fell off. If you take this out and protect you may get better use, but as a permanently installed extension, they are terrible and needed to be replaced. Well our of any warranty I just ate the lost cost. I do not recommend this product and caution your purchase. The insulation fails and then the integrity of the product. There are no priced as use for a few months and then discard.

Yes, the only determining factor for whether this will work or not with your headset is the plug type. This extension has dual GA twin plugs commonly found in most GA aircraft setups. It will not work as an extension for any of the other style plug connectors, ie single pin LEMO, U-174 Heli, etc.
