ATM X8 Series - "Advanced Travel Mount"

The ATM X8 Series Advanced Travel Mount is a small, lightweight portable travel system designed to provide stabilized video shoots at an economical price. The system incorporates the brand new KS-8x8 three-axis gyrostabilizer. The user supplies their own camera and power. The ATM X8 system requires no assembly. Simply attach the camera and power up the gyros. Maximum camera weight is 12 lbs. The system has a telescopic gyro assembly that adjusts to different camera weights up to 12 pounds. The ATM X8 comes with a one-year warranty. The ATM X8 systems are used in helicopters fixed wing aircraft, cars, boats, ATV's, etc. The ATM X8 is a camera tripod with accessories and weighs 20 lbs. plus the weight of the camera. It must remain portable and cannot be bolted to an airplane or helicopter. It is usually placed on the seat next to the camera operator and the seat belt is used to secure it. It can also be taped or strapped down.

The system comes with a 12 / 24 volt power inverter and two power cables. One cable can be used on a small rechargeable (user supplied) 12 or 24 volt battery. The second cable is a cigarette adapter and can be used in a 12 or 24 volt power source. The ATM flies under FAR91.21 for Portable Electronic Equipment.

Note: This is a portable camera stabilizer and cannot be attached to the helicopter or aircraft. As portable camera tripods, they do not need an STC or 337.

For 12-volt use the accessory outlet (cigarette lighter outlet) should provide at least 10 amps. The recommended 12-volt battery size is 35 amps.
