I started with a couple of DCs. I traded in one set for Zulus ANR with the trade in program. I let my wife wear them and it changed her whole attitude as she could hear and understand ATC. Because I like to try everything I bought the Bose A20 as the second set. They are now my preferred headset. They are both good ANRs but I think the Bose have better sound quality. A couple of other considerations. The Zulus have BT with music steaming. When I bought the A20s they didnt have music streaming so I didnt get the BT. I have BT in the new radio so no big deal other then everyone has to listen to my music and phone calls. I got the Lemo plug for both ANRs. The Zulus are only usable in a airplanes with Lemo plugs as they removed the batteries when you get the Lemo plug. The A20s have an adapter for normal headset jacks and have the batteries so I can use them in any plane. I bought new earpieces for the A20s as they wore out from my sunglasses after a few hundred hours. The Zulus dont get as much use so its hard to say if they last longer.
Bought mine on sale (pre-owned)). All packing, batteries and case were like new. They came complete with the business card of the previous owner! These work excellent. The only negative I heard was a local pilots comment on the ear cushions not lasting long.... I sense that replacement earpieces will still be worth it when that time comes.

The A20 is a stereo headset.
