Start Pac® Model 53050 is a 28.5 Volt continuous DC portable power supply when plugged into 110/220 Volt single phase AC power. This unit will deliver full 50 amp DC output continuously, but will not provide enough current for aircraft engine starting or mining equipment starting. This unit is designed to power up various systems such as programming GPS and avionics and is also an excellent choice to power aircraft maintenance equipment.
Do you need a different power supply unit? Or a gas turbine start up unit? Along with the Model 53050, Start Pac also offers a large selection of other products including ground power units, starting units and portable power supplies. Whether you need a new starting unit or 28 volt power supplies, you can trust Start Pac to deliver reliable and long-lasting products. Note: This unit is NOT designed for engine starting or battery charging. |
Well designed and simple operations. Just plug it in to a standard outlet and connect to your aircraft for ample power to run avionics and more.
Purchased Startpac 53050 - 28.5v GPU so I could perform panel database updates on my G1000 equipped TBM on the ground without using my plane’s battery. Works like a champ. More than enough power to run all the NAV equipment and, to my surprise, even the cockpit blower fans. Very happy with this product so far and would recommend it to others.
Great piece of equipment to have on hand. Plenty capable of handling your avionics and then some during ground testing/troubleshooting or the basics. Would highly recommend having this in your GA hangar.
It works! Good to charge those batteries for an hour before an engine start if the batteries are low... or leave it plugged in for the start or during avionics checks.
Awesome unit.
Per the vendor, each cord is 5' long. 5' for the power cable to the wall outlet, and 5' from the unit to the 3-Pin Aux plug for the aircraft.
Yes, the Model 53050/24v is adequate for the Honda Jet. No, this is only a power supply and does not contain batteries.
