Here is an example: for part # 1080HD, the 10 is 10/16 of the cross section, and the 80 is 8" ID in a perfect circle.
Per the manufacturer, no it does not meet this. They have not heard of this requirement or been asked this question previously. They are not sure that it relates to aviation.
These shock chords are made of natural rubber that is chemically blended with the manufactures reciepe. These are not fuel and oil resistant as this will break down the ring if you spill any on it.
