Comfort is key
The Ventube™ will give you and your passengers greater comfort by controlling the air flow and reducing the vent noise in your Cessna cabin.

Reliable air flow control
Ventube™ works simply and reliably to control air direction and flow. It is designed to replace your Cessna's original pull-out vent tube.

How it works
Ventube™ is a plastic unit consisting of an exterior tube and a lockable interior tube with a cap. Just turn the interior tube cap clockwise which pulls the cap against an O-ring seal to close the vent. Airflow control is accomplished by extending or retracting this interior tube. A simple twist of the interior tube controls air direction. The locking cap, friction rings and coins, tolerance between the tubes, and the O-ring seal work together to provide quiet and controlled air flow.

Sold as a pair.

Installation was very easy. They seal up great in the cold air and provide higher velocity airflow in the summer. STC paperwork included.

Installed into my Cessna 150. They work great. Drilled a hole into the plastic for the outside air temperature thermometer on the passenger side and it easily fit. Took about an hour or so to install under the direction of an A&P who signed off on the alteration.

These look to be PERFECT replacements for the drafty old Cessna vent tubes. Looking forward to a war cabin!

Just installed this kit on my Cessna 150. Hardest part was access to where the holes needed to be drilled through the existing housing and into the inner sleeve. Then getting the small screw into the hole. Took about an hour total. Removed the thermometer from the old vent and installed in the new vent with no issues. Test flown and it works well. Moves air when open and nothing gets through when it is closed. The post in the back keeps it closed. No more drifting open.

I just recently installed the Ventube as a replacement for my Cessna 170s old aluminum type vents. The Ventube consists of an outer tube that gets fixed against the metal air tube with a small stainless screw and a washer as well as an inner tube that fits quite tight in the outer tube. Installation was a breeze (one hour in a very cold hangar). The Ventube is really airtight if you close it completely. With a small velcro patch (included) you can create a little more friction between the two tubes which enables that the inner tube can be adjusted to any position and will stay there. A 100% must buy!

Much better than the old tubes. You do have to be careful when drilling in the retaining screw. Without a couple of washers on the outside of the wing tube the supplied screws will prevent the inner tube from sliding in. We also found that one layer of electrical tape made the perfect gasket around the outer tube so that it sealed perfectly within the wing tube.

Q: What is the outside diameter of the plastic outer tube?

Approximately 1-7/8".
