The output voltage is the same as aircraft voltage. The current is variable based on how far you turn the knob. Cooling fins are incorporated, install in an area with cooling fans.

Q: Has the FAA cease and desist order for this product been rescinded? The order was 2016-2013NM460018, issued March 1, 2016.

No, these are still not FAA Approved after the 2016 ruling.
