I followed the instructions from the A&P - IA who provided info in the Q & A section of this product. Clean both surfaces, don’t over-tighten. Works great-no more leak.
Best service behind their product. When I saw it was offered through Spruce, I didnt mind paying a little extra to get it. I had a previous problem with Fuel Tank gasket thickness, to which they helped resolve beyond my expectations. thanks for carrying this line. Dont mind the little extra for this product choice.
Much better than the paper gasket, just dont over tighten and use .041 safety wire
A great fix for what has always been a weakness and potential oil seep on most Lycoming 4 cylinder engines. Nice and thick, allows you to gently tighten the oil dip stick tube yet if it moves even a little bit has enough sponginess to maintain the seal.
