Q: For part # 10-00090 which size suction hose is needed.

The fitting on the back of the instrument is 1/8".

Q: What does the P and V stand for on the holes on the back of the gage? I assume the V is for vacuum, but I am confused about the P.

P - Pressure | V - Vent

Q: For the 2.25 gauge...what fittings are needed on the back to connect to the 1/4 hoses from the back of the instruments?

You can find the mounting diagrams in the overview tab for more information. The size 1/8" pipe thread in both places.

Q: two questions: is it PMA for installation in a Cessna 172? Can the threaded retaining ring that secures the gauge to the exterior panel be purchased separately?

This suction gauge does not have any certification.
