Replaced old and worn out baffling during engine overhaul. New stuff is nice and pliable, and will hopefully keep cooling air going over and through our newly rebuilt engine.

Good baffle material, is rigid enough, yet has enough flexibility to conform

Wasnt sure about this type of baffle due to the price but am happy with its look and flexibility. I could easily shape the material around both the bulkhead and cylinder baffles on a Cessna 150. Sure, you have the gathering wrinkles in some places but it is about the same as straight silicone. I used aluminum pop rivets to attach it and due to the impregnated reinforcement cloth, none pulled out while installing.

Baffle seal material is commonly attached using pop rivets or other fasteners. RTV silicone is used to seal corners and seams. We do not have any adhesive specific for baffle seals.
