Install in MinutesInstallation is as simple as replacing the aircraft position light.Simply replace the aircraft position light, that’s it! No airframe modifications or additional antennas are required. Plus, it works with any Mode C transponder. skyBeacon installation uses the existing mounting location, breaker and wiring, with 3 screws and 3 wires. The transponder data is provided via the existing aircraft wiring system using the power transcoder. Remain AnonymousJust because you are ADS-B equipped, doesn’t mean you want to be tracked. With skyBeacon’s Anonymous Mode, your aircraft identification remains hidden from the ADS-B OUT signal while squawking 1200. Anonymous Mode keeps the skies safe while protecting your privacy. Self-Contained WAAS GPSA built-in WAAS GPS provides skyBeacon with rule compliant position data for ADS-B transmission. No additional wiring or external GPS antenna mounting is required.Works with Your Existing Mode C TransponderskyBeacon works with any existing transponder. uAvionix’s patented power transcoder technology seamlessly communicates with your existing Mode C transponder over your aircraft’s electrical system.![]() Instant Setup and ConfigurationMechanically installing skyBeacon is the first easy step. UAVIONIX SKYBEACON NAV LIGHT STROBE ADS-B OUT TSO
I installed this Skybeacon ADSB Out on my L-29 Delfin and it works flawlessly. I admittedly watched a YouTube video about the installation, but it could not have been easier. Works like a champ.
UAVIONIX SKYBEACON NAV LIGHT STROBE ADS-B OUT TSO

Installed a skydive 182B. Its used for skydiving. Theres 3 wires on this. I had 2. Called UAvionix. Very technical response. Dont use the 3rd wire. App was easy to navigate. Called support and they REALLY stepped up. Easiest thing I have added to the plane. Highly recommend
Installed and configured in 1.5 hours by my IA at annual. Flew out of class B on cross country flight of 50 minutes and the FAA test report was perfect. Beechcraft Sierra. Total price including the Skybeacon and install was just under $2,000.
I purchased a ADS-B Tail Beacon for my 1965 Champion Citabria 7ECA last year from A/C Spruce for $1999. In May I got out to my hangar after the Corona-virus Lock-down in MN was over and found that the Tail Beacon didnt fit. I reordered a Sky Beacon for $1849 and returned the Tail Beacon. I really appreciate the quick response with getting the Sky Beacon with no restocking fee. The weather in MN has been cold and windy and I hope to get the sky Beacon installed next week and get flying. I have been flying my Citabria for 45 yrs. Look it up on Google: Champion Citabria N11023 -- Her Name is Meadowlark JERRY KYSER
