Simply replace the aircraft position light, that’s it! No airframe modifications or additional antennas are required. Plus, it works with any Mode C or Mode S transponder. skyBeacon installation uses the existing mounting location, breaker and wiring, with 3 screws and 3 wires. The transponder data is provided via the existing aircraft wiring system using the power transcoder.

Both units can work with aircraft that have the input voltage from 11-31V DC.
The skyBeacon included in this bundle is TSO approved, however the skySensor does NOT have TSO approval. You would need to get a 337 field approval for certified aircraft install.
Yes the skybeacon is the red light and the skysensor if the green light. The Skysensor does not carry any certification at this time. In the documents section you can find the mounting template to confirm it will fit. Any certified install would need a field approval, we recommend discussing with your A&P to determine if it can be legally installed.
This unit does not have a sync wire for simultaneous flashing.
The Skybeacon requires a Mode C or Mode S transponder.
If the lighting fails the unit will need to be sent in to the manufacturer for repair.
This is not dependent on the sqawck codes. This detects transponder output to create the ADS-B out.
