great product
Bought my second of these in order to euthanize the first after nearly eight years of faithful service. My load testing was starting to indicate that the previous battery was finally deteriorating. Kudos to Aircraft Spruce for their inventory management in not allowing these things to get old in their warehouse. The battery they shipped indicated that it had been manufactured just three months prior.
Great service
Battery arrived in 2 days, was well packaged. It was 6 months old so checked the voltage as per the included instructions which indicated 25.45 volts. Instructions said to charge it if below 25.5 volts so did so. Installed perfectly in C172N. Keeping a peep charger on it as per Concord recommendations. Have high expectations that it will last more than 3 years like the previous Gill.
Fast, easy.fair price and quick delivery
First one lasted 8+ years so replaced with another identical model. They live on a BatteryMinder/desulfator when not in flight or on a trip. Excellent product.
I greatly appreciate Aircraft Spruces free ground shipping on this item. I have used Concorde sealed batteries for years and have had only good experience. Highly recommended.
First concorde battery last 8 years, on my second now.
Concorde got it right on their no maintenance batteries.
Concorde recommends the BatteryMINDer part number 11-14352 to charge this battery.
Yes, this does come with a hold down bar.
That crosses to an RG24-12.
The RG24-15M has a vent.
The RG24-15A1 is not an aircraft battery. It is intended for installation on a generator used by the army. They are roughly the same dimensionally, but the RG24-15A1 has a different terminal, it is not FAA approved, etc.
Should be an RG24-11 or RG24-11M if you require the manifold.
200 CCA.
The dimensions. The -16 isn't quite as wide.
