FAA-approved revolutionary seal design!

These seals are a departure from the weather stripping commonly used to seal the windows on Cessna aircraft. This seal will install in the same location as the original weather stripping (on the door frame window opening), but unlike the foam rubber weather stripping, the seal will conform and mold itself to the window frame regardless of how well or how badly the window fits. The rubber compound has the capacity to sense the pressure from the closed window and can withdraw to as small as 1/16th of an inch. This will provide you with an air and water-tight seal like no other seal on the market

The seal is easy to install (with its own pressure sensitive adhesive strip).

I bought this product after seeing it at Sun N Fun 2 years ago. This is not the foam stripping found at any hardware store. Its the precise dimension and elacticity with the right adhesion for the Cessna operating window. Super easy to install and has stood up in all weather without leaking.

Piece of 1/8â foam weatherstripping that you can get at any hardware for a couple dollars. Does not even come close to what was on my cessna 172

I have been an A. M. E. for almost 40 years and I have worked on aircraft ranging from a Piper J3 to a Boeing 747. I have never seen anything so cheep and over priced as this product. The same foam tape can be bought for less than $10.00. The only thing this product has is the legal sign off.

I purchased this seal for my Cessna 150 restoration project and found it to be worthless. The original seal is a channel seal made of rubber. This seal is not. It is a small slice of foam rubber with glue on one side. If you fly with the window open you can expect to be replacing this seal often. In comparison, it is the same thing that you can get at any hardware store for $5.00 that any A & P can install and approve.

Q: Does this kit come with enough material to do both left and right windows? Or should I order two to do both windows?

This kit comes with only enough material to do one window. You would have to order two of them to do both windows.

Q: Which color is this Cessna window seal?

This seal is black or charcoal.
