Ice Shield PSA boots are standard Ice Shield boots with the Pressure Sensitive Adhesive applied at the factory. Ice Shield PSA parts are offered for most of Ice Shield’s certified airframes. The Ice Shield PSA Boot uses 2 coats of primer, with only 5 minutes dry time between coats and an overall cure time of 1 hour. The standard Ice Shield Boot requires 2 coats of adhesive, with 1 hour of dry time for each layer of adhesive and a 48 hour cure time.
